Let’s start by saying “what an opportunity this is”. I’m currently looking for a very experienced and technically competent Senior Planner for a large business that works all around Europe building data centres.
You’ll be working in a fun work environment, that will be demanding, challenging, like all construction build environments are.
This is a lucrative and dynamic emerging sector, experiencing high levels of capital investment from leading blue chip tech firms, including some of the globe’s best-known names originating in Silicon Valley.
Projects in this space are high value, fast moving, and naturally high tech. As such this represents the opportunity to move into an exciting and challenging market, thus offering significant potential for personal growth and professional development.
A great job, well paid, and fun, working for a fun company and a fun work environment.
Essential experience sought
Must have experience managing and leading programs from start to finish on large scale construction projects (circa £100m+).
Must be able to manage:
• Cost loading schedules;
• KPIs. Spot problems, before they become issues, and get the team to remedy;
• Drive those around you (not to be a shrinking violet);
• Forecast planning and programming;
• Provide weekly updates;
• Excellent user of P6;
• Work well on your own and part of a team.
The person that is right for this job needs to be a strong personality and communicator, pro-active, with strong project management and hands on experience. A person with a deep understanding of contraction projects from their inception through to project completion is sought. You will work in a team of 10 Planners, but all be responsible for delivery.
Preferred experience sought
• Experience building data centres.
Salary on offer would be flexible, but up to £100k depending on experience. As well as a £100k+ salary you can expect the following company benefits:
All travel costs paid from your front door to work and back.
£500 net living allowance per month.
A fully furnished apartment (with internet).
Car provided whilst in country.
Canteen on site (so you’ll not need to pay for food whilst on site)
25 days holiday
You can work on a rota of 5 days on 2 off, or they prefer 10 days on 4 off. Flexible.
