Let’s start by saying “what an opportunity this is”. I’m currently looking for a very experienced and technically competent and hands on Project Controls Director (Head of Project Controls) for a large business that works all around Europe building data centres.
You’ll be working in a fun work environment, that will be demanding, challenging, like all construction build environments are.

Essential experience sought
Must have experience managing and leading the Planning/Project Controls function on large scale construction projects (circa £100m+).
Must be able to manage:
Cost loading schedules;
KPIs. Spot problems, before they become issues, and get the team to remedy;
Planning function and team of 10;
Drive a construction team or 20+ people.
Forecast planning and programming;
Provide weekly updates;
Walk the site daily/ weekly and know where you’re at with the project/ schedule;
Excellent user of P6;
Provide fully cost loaded metrics and referred to daily, and interrogated daily by you and the client. The end clients wants to ensure the project is being pushed at its maximum pace and efficiency.
The person that is right for this job needs to be a strong personality and communicator, pro-active, with strong project management and hands on experience. A person with a deep understanding of contraction projects from their inception through to project completion is sought. You will have a team of 10 Planners under your management, and you will be responsible for the business and end client to deliver.
Preferred experience sought
Experience building data centres.
Salary on offer would be six figures, and dependant on experience. As well as a £100k+ salary you can expect the following company benefits:
